Prime Video has unveiled the official trailer for the live-action series Nautilus. It will premiere exclusively on October 25, 2024, for viewers in the UK and Ireland.

plot

Nautilus explores the origin story of Captain Nemo, an Indian prince stripped of his birthright and family. Determined to seek vengeance, he steals a powerful prototype submarine. He escapes into the Indian Ocean with a diverse crew. They battle against the ruthless East India Mercantile Company. The series is inspired by Jules Verne’s classic novel Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea.

cAST

The cast features Shazad Latif as Nemo, alongside Georgia Flood, Thierry Fremont, and Céline Menville. Guest stars include Richard E Grant, Anna Torv, and Noah Taylor.

PRODUCTION

Prime Video secured UK and Ireland rights through an exclusive deal with Disney Entertainment, which also handles global distribution. The series was developed and produced by Xavier Marchand (Moonriver TV) and Anand Tucker (Seven Stories). James Dormer serves as writer and executive producer. Additional executive producers include Johanna Devereaux, Chris Loveall, Colleen Woodcock, and Daisy Gilbert. Cameron Welsh is the producer, while Michael Matthews leads as director, with Ben Lucas and Isabelle Sieb directing later episodes.

Nautilus will be available on Prime Video.
