The BFI has announced an exciting lineup of Blu-ray and DVD releases scheduled for January, February, and March 2026. These include:

  • 26 January: Cinema Expanded: The Films of Frederick Wiseman — a 3-disc collection featuring five of his documentaries from 1967-1975, marking their first UK release.
  • 16 February: Daniel Farson’s Guide to Britain Volume 1 — a dual-format set showcasing the pioneering investigative journalist’s influential work in post-war Britain.
  • 23 February: Strongroom — a highly regarded British B-movie about a bank heist gone wrong, appearing on Blu-ray for the first time.
  • 16 March: Children’s Film Foundation Bumper Box: Volume 6 — a nostalgic collection of nine adventurous films featuring beloved actors.
  • Late March: Negatives — filmmaker Peter Medak’s debut film from 1968, a cinematic character study, now available on UK formats for the first time.

All titles include extra features and an illustrated booklet (first pressing). Pre-orders are now available via usual home entertainment retailers.
