Netflix has released the official trailer, key art, date announcement, and first-look images for Unchosen. This new six-part drama series (6 x 50’) launches on 21 April 2026. The series is created, written, and executive produced by Julie Gearey. Iona Vrolyk and Myar Craig-Brown also serve as executive producers for Double Dutch Productions. Nick Pitt is the producer. The show is directed by Jim Loach (“Criminal Record”) and Philippa Langdale (“A Discovery of Witches”).

SYNOPSIS
Rosie lives with her husband Adam and their daughter inside a cloistered Christian sect. It is a hidden religious community. This community controls every aspect of their lives. The arrival of escaped prisoner Sam disturbs her sense of safety. It unveils the truth and limitations of the world she believed was safeguarding her. Cracks begin to appear in her marriage and faith. Sam starts to look like her only way out. Sam has a dark criminal past. Rosie must decide where the greatest danger truly lies. Is it within the cult or with Sam himself?
