HBO has released the second trailer for the third season of the critically acclaimed, pop culture juggernaut original drama series EUPHORIA, debuting SUNDAY, APRIL 12 (9:00–10:00 p.m. ET/PT) on HBO and available to stream on HBO Max. The series was created, written, directed, and executive produced by Emmy® nominee and DGA Award® winner Sam Levinson. It stars Emmy® winner Zendaya. The production is a partnership with A24 and will debut new episodes weekly. EUPHORIA is one of the most-watched series in HBO history. Its first two seasons earned 25 Emmy® nominations, including nine wins.
Season 3 logline
A group of childhood friends wrestle with the virtue of faith. They explore the possibility of redemption and grapple with the problem of evil. As they move further into adulthood, they confront the consequences of their choices.

Visual style and film format
Season three was shot on a new Kodak motion picture film stock in both 35mm and 65mm formats. Sam Levinson and Emmy®‑winning cinematographer Marcell Rév worked closely with Kodak. They commercialized the stock in each format. Because of this collaboration, EUPHORIA became the first narrative TV series to shoot a significant volume on 65mm film. This expanded image mirrors the characters’ transition out of high school into a broader, more chaotic world.
