“The enemy of your enemy is your friend” (Cobra Kai Season 3)
The Hidden Review watched the TV series Cobra Kai, which is the TV spin-off of the film series Karate Kid produced by Netflix. The Series stars the same two rivals, such as Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio), and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka), who reprise their old roles but at an older age.
CAST AND PLOT
At the same time, like them, we have new good entries. Xolo Maridueña plays Miguel. Mary Mouser plays Samantha, daughter of Daniel. Tanner Buchanan plays Robby, son of Johnny. There are also other good co-stars. The story is set in the modern year, and always takes place in All Valley.
Moreover, it features modern characteristics of young daily lives, such as bullying, breakups, and friend relationships, but with new interesting details and twists which are going to be developed throughout these two seasons, for sure in the 3rd.
RIVALRY
The old rivalry between our two leads becomes a rivalry on many occasions, and an influence also for these young characters who already struggle to find their identities, but at the same time, are all connected to one specific skill, through Karate legacies from two different dojos. The photography is also interesting, and the fight choreographies are also pretty good. Without spoilers, the fights and the new moves are very interesting.
All actors, directors, fight coordinators, and writers excel at their jobs. They hope to see the same quality in future seasons.
