Prime Video has officially revealed the release date for the third season of the feel-good detective drama The Mallorca Files. This season is highly anticipated as They also unveiled the new season’s poster. All eight new episodes will be available on August 8 in select territories, including the U.S., U.K., Germany, Australia, and Mexico. Fans in the U.S. can currently watch the first two seasons for free on Amazon Freevee. Seasons One and Two are coming soon to Prime Video.
Sunny Mallorca Sets the Scene for Crime and Comedy
The series is set against the breathtaking backdrop of the sun-soaked Spanish island of Mallorca. The show follows British detective Miranda Blake, played by Elen Rhys. Her laid-back German partner is Max Winter, portrayed by Julian Looman. Despite their contrasting personalities, they form an effective team. They tackle murder, arson, kidnappings, and treasure hunts. These cases keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
New Challenges Test an Unlikely Partnership
Season Three intensifies the tension between Max and Miranda, as personal conflicts challenge their professional partnership. Overseeing their investigations is the unpredictable and fiery Inés Villegas (María Fernández Ache). The season features an exciting lineup of international guest stars. The guest stars include Enrique Arce (Money Heist), Philippe Brenninkmeyer (Mad Men), and Charlie Higson (The Fast Show), Michael Jibson (Bodies) and Leonor Watling (Cities) are also featured.
