The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences collaborated with the City of Los Angeles. Together, they finalized street closures around the Dolby® Theatre. They implemented this at Ovation Hollywood to ensure public safety. These measures support production for the 97th Oscars®.
Key Street Closures
According to the latest report, Hollywood Boulevard from Orange Drive to Highland Avenue will be fully closed from 12:01 a.m. on Thursday, February 20, until 6 a.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, to accommodate press risers and pre-show stages along the Oscars red carpet. Additional streets will be closed periodically between Sunday, February 16, and Oscars Sunday, March 2. In that period, sidewalks surrounding the area will also be closed at times.
Transportation Changes
The Metro Transit Authority (MTA) will reroute bus traffic during this period. Subway trains will bypass the Ovation Hollywood station. This will happen after the last regularly scheduled train on Saturday, March 1, until the first train after 6 a.m. on Monday, March 3.
