Prime Video announces that Catherine Zeta-Jones will star in Kill Jackie. It is an original UK series. The series is based on the acclaimed novel by Nick Harkaway (writing as Aidan Truhen). Production begins in March 2025 across Bilbao, Lisbon, London, and Swansea.

Plot Overview
Jackie’s luxurious life takes a deadly turn when she discovers that The Seven Demons, the world’s deadliest assassins, have been hired to kill her. Suspecting a link to her past, she uses her old instincts to take down the hitmen one by one, but her darkest secrets prove more terrifying than her pursuers, leading to shocking consequences close to home.

Kill Jackie is co-produced by Fremantle and Steel Springs Pictures and will premiere worldwide in 2026. The series is directed by Damon Thomas (Killing Eve). Showrunner and writer Tom Butterworth (Gangs of London) leads the adaptation. It was created by Conor Keane, who also serves as associate producer. Production supervision is by José Luis Escolar’s Deabru Kalea Filmeak in Bizkaia.
