The Hidden Review team has watched the first four episodes of the last season of Stranger Things 5, let’s unpacking the third episode:
3rd episode: The Turnbow Trap
In the third episode, Hopper (David Harbour) and Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) develop their own plan. They aim to keep uncovering specific information. Their goal is to better understand Vecna’s executed schemes and objectives. Meanwhile, the group devises a new strategy. They plan to lure one of the monsters to the house of one of Vecna’s intended targets. Their goal is to capture it and create multiple distractions.
This episode also features the return of several cast members. Erica Sinclair (Priah Ferguson) who is the sister of Lucas Sinclair (Caleb McLaughlin). Erica plays a key role in the story, particularly in relation to the trap they are setting up.
During the execution of this trap, something goes wrong. It makes everything more complicated. This significantly heightens the suspense in the series.
Meanwhile, Holly (Nell Fisher) is in a seemingly safe place. It is specifically designed by Henry—Vecna’s human form. He strictly forbids and warns her not to leave. But, as with all children, these rules are never truly followed.
In this episode, the mystery and conflict grow increasingly compelling. The characters reach a level of awareness that gradually brings them into deeper harmony with one another. They are driven by intrapersonal situations that make them realize their true potential.
The story reaches a stronger and more intriguing level of engagement. It provides the directors with new methods to explore uncharted territories within the narrative. This allows the fourth chapter of Volume 1 to reach an unprecedented climax. (Read the next article)
