Louis Theroux’s first feature-length documentary for Netflix, Louis Theroux: Inside The Manosphere, will launch globally on 11 March. The 90-minute film follows Theroux as he travels to Miami, New York and Marbella to meet a network of influencers and content creators operating at the most extreme end of what has become known as the Manosphere.

Exploring a new wave of masculinity and men’s rights
The documentary examines how key figures – including Harrison Sullivan (AKA HS Tikky Tokky), Myron Gaines, Nicolas Kenn De Balinthazy (AKA Sneako), Justin Waller and Ed Matthews – are reshaping young men’s ideas about masculinity and fuelling a resurgent global men’s rights movement. Through access to their online and offline worlds, Theroux traces how their messages spread, why they resonate, and what they reveal about a generation searching for identity, status and belonging.
Immersed in the Manosphere’s ecosystem
Immersing himself in their ecosystem, Louis spends time with prominent voices within the movement, each offering their own reading of traditional gender roles, power and values. He learns the language that binds this community – including terms like “red-pilling” – and unpacks the narratives behind the memes, podcasts and viral clips. As he does so, he also listens closely to the women in their lives who appear to support them, bringing their perspectives into a debate often framed as a battle of extremes.
