Nabhaan Rizwan (he/him) has been confirmed as a series regular in Netflix’s upcoming live-action adaptation of Assassin’s Creed. This further cements his status as one of the most exciting rising talents in international television and film. Rizwan is best known to global audiences for projects such as In CameraKaos and Juice. He brings a blend of intensity, vulnerability, and dark humour. This aligns perfectly with the franchise’s high-stakes, character-driven storytelling.

London-based actor Nabhaan Rizwan has been nominated for two BAFTA awards in 2025. First, he was recognized as a BAFTA Rising Star. Subsequently, he received a nomination for Best Male Performance in a Comedy for his standout role as Dionysus in Netflix’s KAOS. In film, he recently starred in the lead role of IN CAMERA. It is a BBC Films production directed by Naqqash Khalid. The film premiered at the 2023 Karlovy Vary International Film Festival to rave reviews. It earned him a BIFA nomination for Best Lead Performance.

His recent television credits include DOPE GIRLS and JUICE for the BBC. He gained further recognition for his performance in HBO’s STATION 11 opposite Himesh Patel. Earlier in his career, Rizwan appeared in HBO’s acclaimed series INDUSTRY. He also starred in the BBC/Amazon thriller THE INFORMER. Furthermore, he was part of Jack Thorne’s miniseries THE ACCIDENT for Channel 4 and Hulu.

On the big screen, Rizwan appeared in MOGUL MOWGLI alongside Riz Ahmed, which premiered at the 2021 Berlin Film Festival to critical acclaim. His additional film credits include THE LAST LETTER FROM YOUR LOVER. This film was directed by Augustine Frizzell and starred Felicity Jones and Shailene Woodley. He also appeared in 1917, directed by Sam Mendes, where he appeared opposite George MacKay. Rizwan recently wrapped FILM CLUB opposite Aimee Lou Wood. He can currently be seen in season two of JUICE. Claes Bang, born in Odense, Denmark, is an award-winning stage and screen actor working across Denmark, Sweden, Germany and the UK. His international breakthrough came as the lead in Ruben Östlund‘s Oscar-nominated feature THE SQUARE. The film won the Palme d’Or at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival. It also won six European Film Awards, including Best Actor for Bang. The film was also nominated for the Academy Award and Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film. He starred in THE BAY OF SILENCE opposite Olga Kurylenko and Brian Cox. He appeared in the final season of Showtime’s acclaimed series THE AFFAIR. Then, he had a role in THE GIRL IN THE SPIDER’S WEB opposite Claire Foy.

In 2020, Bang played the title role in the BBC/Netflix miniseries DRACULA, from the creators of SHERLOCK. He then starred in THE BURNT ORANGE HERESY opposite Mick JaggerDonald Sutherland and Elizabeth Debicki. It closed the Venice Film Festival. He also starred in THE LAST VERMEER opposite Guy Pearce. Both films were acquired by Sony Pictures Classics. For the BBC, Bang filmed three seasons of Stephen Merchant‘s THE OUTLAWS. In Sharon Horgan‘s Apple TV+ series BAD SISTERS, his portrayal of the appalling JP earned widespread critical praise. The New York Times noted that he keeps the character human and compelling. He does this without sliding into caricature. Recent credits include the Apple series THE NEW LOOK opposite Juliette Binoche, and the feature films BONJOUR TRISTESSESTOCKHOLM’S BLOODBATH and MASTER / MARGARITA.

Bang has also taken on the title role in the historical epic WILLIAM TELL. It is directed by Nick Hamm and features Sir Ben Kingsley and Sir Jonathan Pryce. The film premiered to acclaim at the Zurich Film Festival. In 2024 he shot the German thriller MUTTERGLÜCK, the family film MOMO, and LA GRANDE ARCHE, playing the architect who designed the Grande Arche in Paris, before travelling to New Zealand for the action feature WRECKING CREW opposite Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista. Upcoming projects are diverse. They include a role as a Russian General in BILLION DOLLAR SPY opposite Russell Crowe. Another project is the Netflix feature THE SECRET WOMAN. He will also star in the World War II drama ICH BIN ANDERER. Additionally, he will appear in the 20th Century Studios action thriller PAINTER opposite Amber Midthunder and Walton Goggins.

Trained at Denmark’s National Theatre School, Bang is also a prolific stage actor in Denmark, Sweden, Germany and the UK. In 2018 he performed the one-man show THE EVIL at London’s St. James’s Theatre, and in April 2022 he starred in the UK premiere of Jeremy O. Harris‘s DADDY at the Almeida Theatre to five-star reviews and sold-out performances. In audio, he has appeared in podcasts such as DIRTY DIANA with Demi Moore and recorded audiobooks including KALLOCAIN for Penguin, as well as a three-part adaptation of BERLIN ALEXANDERPLATZ for BBC Radio 4. Fluent in five languages, Bang is also an accomplished singer, songwriter and pianist.
