HBO and NFL Films will reunite this summer. They will present the HBO Original series HARD KNOCKS: TRAINING CAMP WITH THE SEATTLE SEAHAWKS. The five-episode season debuts TUESDAY, AUGUST 11 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on HBO. It will be available to stream on HBO Max. New episodes will premiere on subsequent Tuesdays. The finale airs on September 8. This is the first time since Hard Knocks launched in 2001 with the Baltimore Ravens. The show will follow a defending Super Bowl champion.
All-access with the Seattle Seahawks
HARD KNOCKS: TRAINING CAMP WITH THE SEATTLE SEAHAWKS marks the franchise’s first appearance on the 19-time Sports Emmy®-winning series. This season’s all-access coverage will unfold at the Seahawks’ training camp in Renton, Washington. It will spotlight head coach Mike Macdonald. Quarterback Sam Darnold will also be featured. In addition, 2025 AP NFL Offensive Player of the Year Jaxon Smith-Njigba will be highlighted. Defensive standouts Devon Witherspoon and Byron Murphy II will also be highlighted.
Future season: New England Patriots in 2027
Looking ahead, the New England Patriots are Super Bowl LX runner-up and six-time champions. They are slated to be the featured training camp team in August 2027. The series will go behind the scenes again. It will follow one of the NFL’s most storied franchises as they prepare for a new season.
Hard Knocks franchise history
Hard Knocks made its debut in 2001. Since then, it has documented training camps for many teams over the years. The Baltimore Ravens were featured in 2001. The Dallas Cowboys appeared in 2002, 2008, and 2021. The Kansas City Chiefs were covered in 2007. The Cincinnati Bengals had their camp in 2009 and 2013 documented.
