In addition to the U.S., HALF MAN will be available on HBO Max in Latin America starting April 24 and in Europe on April 25. In the UK and Ireland, it will be released on BBC iPlayer (BBC iPlayer) on April 24, with BBC One (BBC One) and BBC Scotland (BBC Scotland) transmission following within the week.

Logline

Niall and Ruben are brothers—though not related by blood, they are as close as two people can be. One is fierce and loyal, the other meek and mild-mannered. Brought into each other’s lives through death and circumstance, their youth is defined by an inseparable bond, and for a long time, all they have is each other.

Decades later, when Ruben turns up at Niall’s wedding, everything feels different. He’s on edge, shifty, not acting like himself. An eruption of violence at the wedding catapults the story back through their shared past, from the 1980s to the present day. Spanning 30 years in the lives of these broken men, HALF MAN is a six-part limited series exploring brotherhood, violence, and the fragile nature of male relationships—showing how, when things fall apart, it is often the closest relationships that break the hardest.
