On the other hand, Holly Wheeler (Nell Fisher) e Max (Sadie Sink) are trapped in Camazotz. They keep moving through the memories. They are trying to find a way out.

Here is the review of episode 6: Escape from Camazotz.

The fate of Hawkins and Will

The friends still on earth in Hawkins gather again. They need to find a way to wake Will. Will is like a zombie and experiencing a trance. The situation only gets back under control when Eleven shows up, but the danger is not over yet.

The bridge between the worlds

One door to the other world closes and a new one opens. At this moment, Dustin gets to know the real deal. By using his science knowledge and Dr. Brenner’s notes, he figures out that the energy flow they are following is part of a bridge. This bridge is a wormhole, and its end is unknown. However, it is absolutely certain that it leads to death.

Relationships, truth, and a second chance

On a different note, several emotional themes were getting out of the subconscious. Couples of Nancy and Jonathan and Dustin and Steve face their relationships, some of which are driven by love, some are based on friendship and brotherhood. At the time of crisis, they dare to disclose the deeply felt pain and hurt the unspoken words, the ones they tried without success, not to hurt each other. When death is almost there, it is redemption that takes over and thus we get to see faces of unexpected outcomes.

Camazotz escape and Holly’s development

There were a lot of things happening simultaneously, among them were the escape of Holly and Max from Camazotz. They also manage to discover Henry’s weak spot and thus get to their escape point. At this point, Holly a little girl who has doubts in herself, as every kid naturally does really gets to grow up. Max helps her to see the light of her own power, and she understands that there is no need for her to be scared: she is resourceful, capable, and ready to go to great lengths to accomplish her goals.

It was her journey that brought the story closer to the younger generation as well as that it acts as a source of inspiration in a world full of challenges where it is easy to get discouraged.
